Origin Notes and History:
Established by Bill 53: Park Amendment Act 1995, 13 July 1995, containing 243 ha. Area expanded per Bill 38-2008: Protected Areas of British Columbia (Conservancies and Parks) Amendment Act, 23 May 2008; the whole now containing approximately 603 hectares (293 hectares of upland and 310 hectares of foreshore).
