Established by Order in Council 1192, 10 August 1989, containing 85 hectares (39 hectares upland and 46 hectares foreshore) more or less. Conversion of OIC to Statute designation per Bill 17-2000: Protected Areas of British Columbia Act, 29 June 2000; the whole still containing approximately 85 hectares (39 hectares of upland and 46 hectares of foreshore).
