Adopted 31 January 1983 on 92P/16, being the established and widely recognized local name according to December 1982 advice from BC Parks District Manager, Clearwater (file M.1.61). So-labelled in guidebooks, including "Exploring Wells Gray" by Roland Neave, 1981.
