Origin Notes and History:
Christina Lake (Post Office) adopted 6 October 1955 on 82E, located on the east side of the lake at 49º03'30" -118º13'00" as labelled on BC Mineral Reference Map 6, 1932. Form of name changed to Christina Lake (community) 31 January 1983 on 82E/1, and application altered to the south end of the lake (the area formerly known as Christina).

Christina Lake Post Office was opened 16 August 1912, located at Lot 970 on the east side of the lake; closed 30 September 1930. Re-opened as a summer post office 1 July 1939, still situated in Lot 970. Christina Lake Post Office and Cascade Post Office were amalgamated 30 June 1973 (still to be called Christina Lake Post Office) and relocated to Lot 498 at Christina (settlement).
