Origin Notes and History:

Strathcona-Myra Park established as a Class B provincial park by Order in Council 839, 12 June 1989, comprising 3327 hectares formerly designated as Strathcona Recreation Area. Name changed to Strathcona-Westmin Park per OIC 1418, 15 September 1990, still a Class B provincial park, and the whole still containing 3327 hectares more or less.
