Origin Notes and History:

Blackcomb Glacier Park was established by Order in Council 1202, 2 August 1990, containing 250 ha. more or less (This class A provincial park was carved out of a portion of Garibaldi Provincial Park). Reestablished by OIC 1245/94. OIC 1245/94 rescinded and Blackcomb Glacier Park reestablished by OIC 343, 15 June 2021, the whole containing approximately 221 hectares.
