Established by Order in Council 986, 15 May 1986. Conversion of OIC to Statute designation per Bill 15-2001: Protected Areas of British Columbia Amendment Act, 2001, 11 April 2001; the whole containing 76 ha. more or less. Boundary redescribed per Bill 50-2004: Parks and Protected Areas Statutes Amendment Act, 17 May 2004; the whole containing approximately 72 hectares. Boundary redescribed per Bill 16-2005: Miscellaneous Statues Amendment Act, 1 November 2005; the whole now containing approximately 69 hectares.
