Origin Notes and History:
The dual name "Eastgate (community) / (Manning Park Post Office)" was adopted 30 June 1982 on 92H/2. The dual name dismantled into its' component parts, Eastgate (community) and Manning Park (Post Office), in July 1993 by Ottawa; BOTH names to be labelled on BC maps

Manning Park Post Office was opened 2 July 1953, located at 49 04 - 120 47 in the community of Manning Park. The post office was relocated 1 April 1977 to the community of Eastgate, at the east entrance to the park.
