Mis-spelled "Cracker Island" on Harris's 1913 map of New Westminster District. "Croker Island (not Cracker Island)" identified in the 1930 BC Gazetteer.

Presumably named by Captain Richards, RN, while surveying these waters in 1859-60, probably after James L. Croker, assistant paymaster, HMS Plumper in 1860.
