Origin Notes and History:
"Cayoosh Range (not Cayoosh Mountains, nor Cayush Mountains)" adopted 6 September 1951 on 92J; between Anderson Lake and Cayoosh Creek as labelled on BC map 2B, 1914. Coordinates altered 25 June 1975 on 92J/SE-SW, extending the application of the name south of 50º30', as described in Climber's Guide to the Coastal Ranges of British Columbia, 1968.
