Origin Notes and History:
Cave Mountain (not Mount Cave) adopted 31 December 1928 in "Place Names of Alberta 1928", as labelled on BC-Alberta boundary sheet 12, published in 1917. The cave is on the southeast (Alberta) side of the massif.
