Descriptive of shape. Note that Captain Pender's 1868 chart #1923B shows Lake Island, Lady Douglas Island and Dowager Island as a single feature with "Helmet Peak labelled toward the east side of the landmass. The next chart, #1462, published in 1872, delineates all the shorelines and identifies this feature on Lake Island.
