Amai Inlet adopted 3 June 1947 on C3682 as recommended by Hydrographic Service; not "Deep Inlet" as labelled on British Admiralty Chart 583, 1863 et seq, and on BC map 2C, 1919, and as identified in the 1930 BC Gazetteer.
