Established per Order in Council 3756/75, containing 1,668,000 acres more or less. Conversion of OIC to Statute designation per Bill 15-2001: Protected Areas of British Columbia Amendment Act, 2001, 11 April 2001; the whole containing 696,091 ha. more or less. Boundary extended per Bill 38-2008: Protected Areas of British Columbia (Conservancies and Parks) Amendment Act, 23 May 2008; the whole now containing approximately 698,659 hectares.
