The 1913 surveys for timber lots 7649, 7652-55 & 7668 were made for J.B. Meagher (Field Book 2728/13 PH22), although no signature in field book to confirm spelling.

The L'íl'wat name for the Meager Valley is Qw'elqw'wlústen. This is a natural hotspring area, which is a spiritual place for the L'íl'wat People who use the healing powers of the water. (December 2011 from: Cultural Journey Sea-to-Sky Corridor website, Squamish and Lil'wat First Nations)
