Named to remember Canadian Army Private John G. Watson, M38526, from Bessborough (near Dawson Creek); serving in Italy with the Seaforth Highlanders when he was killed in action 17 September 1944, age 23. Pte. Watson is buried at Coriano Ridge War Cemetery, grave IX. F. 7. Survived by parents Joseph and Frances Watson.
