Refers to Mr. Regan, CPR surveyor, who made an economic survey of this area in 1930 for the E & N Railway Company. While at the main Circle Lake camp, Regan told Len Rossiter he was naming this mountain after himself. First ascent claimed by Jack Gregson and Len Rossiter, 1931.
