After Edgar H. Bucklin of Small and Bucklin Lumber Company Ltd, New Westminster, which company logged here in the 1900's. Born 1860 in Illinois, he practiced law in Chicago and manufactured salt in New York State and Kanses before entering the lumber business in BC in 1903, and erecting a sawmill at New Westminster.
