Origin Notes and History:
Dall River adopted 30 November 1944 on 94/NW, not "Cold Fish River" as identified in BC Mines Bulletin # 12: Reconnaissance in the Area of Turnagain and Upper Kechika Rivers, by M.S. Hedley and S.S. Holland, 1941. Also Dall Lake.

Re-named Dall Lake (and Dall River) to avoid confusion with another Cold Fish Lake, tributary to Spatsizi River, and because of the presence of white (Dall) sheep in the vicinity.
