Origin Notes and History:
Mount Terrapin was adopted in the 18th Report, 1924. Changed to Terrapin Mountain in the 1953 BC Gazetteer and confirmed 3 October 1957 on OBF 2501. Named for its fanciful resemblance to a turtle.
