Origin Notes and History:

"Delphine Mountain" adopted in the 15th Report of the Geographic Board of Canada, 31 March 1917, for Geological Survey sheet 165A, Windermere. So-identified in the 18th Report GBC, 1924, and in the 1930 BC Gazetteer. Form of name changed to "Mount Delphine" 8 April 1960, to signify that the feature is named after a person.

First ascent: A.A. McCoubrey and Edward Feuz, Jr. 1914. Delphine Mountain [sic] and Delphine Creek chosen, in association with the Delphine Mineral Claim on the creek, first identified in 1898 BC Mines Report, pp.1041 & 1055.
