Submitted April 1944 by Howard Alexander MacDonald, after himself: Born at Revelstoke, 1908; 3rd generation Canadian, mother and father born in Ontario. Flying (commercial) from bases in Tulsequa, Atlin and Fort St. James 1932 to 1944 (except 4 years RCAF on trans-Atlantic). Forced landing on this lake at the head of a tributary flowing into Purvis Lake, February 18 or 19, 1944, whilst flying from Fort St. James to Bralorne Mercury Mines, a compacted aerodrome for winter operation, situated 6 miles north of east end of Tsayta Lake.
